Ngulli Gau Rema
In the Yugambeh language of South Eastern Queensland, Ngulli Gau Rema refers to the process of coming together.
At Mibbinbah, Ngulli Gau Rema represents an interconnected series of support programs that have been developed by us and co-designed with input from First Nations communities right across Australia using our Proper Way methodology.
The purpose of our programs is to help First Nations people to come together in order to facilitate healing and by doing so, strengthen connections to culture and one another.
Programs from the Ngulli Gau Rema program have been used to assist improving outcomes across areas including suicide prevention, mental health, family reunification, domestic violence prevention, justice reinvestment and cultural competency.
These have been implemented with great success across Government and Private sector settings including the justice and education systems, non-Government and Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Organisations (ACCHOs) and professional development settings.
