Mibbinbah  National Gathering 2023

The Mibbinbah Spirit Healing organisation hosted its first-ever combined male and female national gathering, which was a celebration of the diversity and unity of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and their cultures. The gathering, which took place on October 10–13, 2023, in Batemans Bay, NSW, was also open to non-Indigenous people who wanted to join and learn from the Indigenous communities.

The gathering was a success, as it attracted over 75 participants from different backgrounds and regions, who shared their stories, experiences, and perspectives on various topics and issues. The gathering also featured cultural activities, such as workshops, ceremonies, dances, and songs, that showcased the richness and beauty of our cultures. The participants also enjoyed the natural scenery and wildlife of the Batemans Bay area, which added to the sense of connection and belonging.

The gathering demonstrated our vision and mission of promoting healing, empowerment, and harmony among Indigenous and non-Indigenous peoples. The gathering also created a platform for dialogue and collaboration, where participants could listen and learn from each other, and work together to create positive changes in their communities and society. The gathering was a testament to the strength and resilience of our people, and willingness to share wisdom and culture with others. The gathering was also a celebration of the achievements and contributions of both Indigenous and non-Indigenous communities, and their potential to create a more balanced and inclusive future for all. The biggest thank you to all our sponsors, The biggest being The Frank Montagnese Foundation who without their support and guidance our Dream of bringing men and women together wouldn't have been possible.

Now we are on to planning the 2024 Gathering and boy have we found a great space The Venue is called The Haven at Emu Park QLD on October 28–31, 2024
